I mean her. Oda Sakura (Love her name) was the only trainee picked to join Morning Musume. I can say I’m freaking happy. She was my favorite when I saw the audition clips. Her voice is full of soul and she’s just good. There’s really nothing wrong with her technique wise. I can’t wait for her first single. In other news, Reina, Haruka, and Maskai had a trio song together and it’s freaking amazing. We need more of this.

Suzuki Kanon and Riho Sayashi tied for this week’s poll!

[K-Pop] Psy was on the MTV awards!

This thursday was the MTV awards and Psy showed up! He had a relatively low key appearance, but whatevs. Katy Perry looked super excited to see him. (Rihanna…not so much.) After the awards, Psy was put on Billboards Best Dressed list which I wasn’t expecting at all. Keep going Psy!

[K-Pop] “Litttle T-ara” was cancelled!

Sorry I haven’t been around peeps and if this old news for you, but I’m been working. However, “Little T-ara” was cancelled and I almost cried. I thought that it was the cutest idea ever but of course netizens ruin everything. I’ll tell you one thing, if T-ara and their management keep listening to netizens, they will NEVER come back. Oh well, fight on T-ara.

[K-Pop] Psy has signed with School Boy Records

So I guess Psy is joining Beibers label, School Boy Records which is a part of Universal Records. Psy will also appear at the MTV VMA’s which is super awesome. I’m not gonna lie, I’m having mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I love that Psy was signed with a prominent American agency, but at the same time, I’ve seen on non-Kpop sites that Psy is listed as a viral video singer. Obviously Psy is a real artist who has countless singles, but here in America, he’s only known as “Gangnam Style.” I just hope that the public doesn’t view him as a gimmick. Well whatevs. Congrats Psy and can’t wait to see you on the VMA’s.

Sorry I was M.I.A for a while. I just got an internship in Michigan and have been travelling. I don’t have wi-fi yet (I’m in an internet cafe right now) so it’s hard to update. I should have wireless in my apartment tomorrow, but it’s a holiday, so there’s no telling. I’m still around and will be updating when I can. Thanks for sticking with me.
